AP E-News
Good morning,
The last two Sundays in the season of Epiphany the Gospel readings have us listening to two portions of the famous "Sermon on the Mount" that Jesus preached. The readings have the same general theme. Jesus teaches us that life in his kingdom is often opposite of the way and in the thinking of the unbelieving world. What the sin-corrupted world thinks is bad is good and what is wrong is right - and vice versa. Come Sunday to hear more.

Prayer Notes:
- As Valentine's Day marks our calendar tomorrow...let's give thanks to the Lord for his unconditional love. "God is love," John tells us in 1 John 4:8. We are blessed to be recipients of his loving gift of salvation through Jesus. His love is the most important of all! We ask that God's love is then seen and heard in our love for God and others. "We love because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19). Rejoice in God's love and the people in your life who love you and whom you love.
- Let's also pray for all those who dred Valentine's Day because they feel that no one loves them or that there is no love in this world. We ask the Lord to bless the proclamation of the gospel so that everyone might know that "God so loved the world that..." (John 3:16). May we be eager to share that good news and to support the work of gospel ministry.
