Good morning and greetings from Abiding Peace,
This week we begin Holy Week by welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem on what would become known as Palm Sunday. The day begins the most important week in the history of mankind, ending at the cross on Friday and empty tomb on Easter morning. Start the journey this Sunday and see how God provides exactly what we need so that we might spend eternity in glory with him.

Prayer Notes:
- Let's pray for God's peace to bring comfort and quietness to Linda Ward as she mourns the death of her mother (Dona Heyer). We also thank the Lord for his gift of life and eternal life.
- Let's also pray the same for Kim Gnewuch who had two of her extended family die recently (rather unexpected). May the risen Lord Jesus give peace and hope to Kim and her family.
Other Notes:
- A reminder that the memorial service for Rich Lemke is at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
- A reminder that Saturday morning is workday and we will begin by resetting the Fellowship Hall, following the refinishing work that will be completed this morning. The rest of the "to do" list includes spreading pine straw, washing windows, moving mulch, trimming trees, etc. Your help (if even for a couple hours) is appreciated.
- Come to the Fellowship Hall between services for breakfast (pancakes, egg bakes, etc.). Serving goes from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thank you to all who are helping!
- Deadline to donate flowers is Sunday. Cost is $10. You can take yours home after the Easter service.
- Purchase tickets Sunday for the "Spring Social" planned for April 11th (6:00 p.m.)
- Sign up Sunday to participate in "goofy golf" - a wiffle ball golf tournament on campus on Saturday, May 2nd. Cost is $25/person and includes lunch. It's a fundraiser for APA tuition assistance.
- Sign up Sunday if you are interested in playing softball on May 17th.
- Now is the perfect time to invite a friend or neighbor to join you for Easter Sunday!
