Good morning,

Each year, I ask the vicar to prepare a summer series as a "vicar project" and this year Vicar Charlie has prepared a series that we begin on Sunday entitled: "Help from the Hilltops."  Each week we will hike a hill/mountain of the Bible and see how our gracious God loves us and blesses us.  Sunday we join Abraham and Isaac up the hill that is called with a phrase: "The LORD will see to it."  Come to worship and hear what that phrase means.

Prayer Notes:

- We ask the Lord to bless Jen and Ryan Frazierr who were married this week.  God bless them with joy and happiness, contentment and patience, and may they reflect the love of Jesus in their love for each other.

- We ask the Lord to bring calm and stability to regions of the world and to people who are caught up in unrest and violence.  We note the recent agreement between Iran and the US and pray that peaceful and calm relations may prevail.

Other Notes:

- A reminder that a hike is planned for Saturday.  See prior emails for the details.

- Sign up Sunday to help with our "Red, White, and Blue" celebration on July 5th.  See the information table in the entryway.

- "Mulch Day" 2.0 refers to a recently dropped pile of lower grade mulch that is perfect for under the trees by the playground (not for the playground, however).  Feel free to chip away and spread it out at your convenience.

- Look for a District Convention summary in Sunday's folder.

- Look for a Congregational Meeting summary in Sunday's folder.

- Now is the time when people are moving into your neighborhood.  Invite them to join you for worship.  Share with them school information.  

- Registration for our two summer camps continues and the deadline is drawing near.
