This weekend we begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday and Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem to the shouts of "Hosanna," which means - "Save us, please!"  He would do just that at the end of the week.

Palm Sunday we join our voices with the ancient crowd to praise our Savior for his work of salvation and his triumph as our King.

Sunday at AP Five Forks we will welcome our APA Kindergarten-2nd graders who will sing "Blessed Is He."

And...Sunday at FF all are invited to a Palm Sunday breakfast between services.  Pancakes, egg bake and baked goods are on the menu.  Come and enjoy!

Prayer Notes:

- We pray for Regan Imamura who is having surgery today.  We ask the Lord to bless the efforts of the medical team and that he give Regan and her family peace in the promises of God's loving care.

- We pray that Holy Week will be a time when all who have lost interest in God and his Word or who are lost in the sadness and loneliness of sin would be drawn to the cross and empty tomb to receive the peace and hope that God desires for all.

Other Notes:

- As mentioned, breakfast is served in the Fellowship Hall at Five Forks from 9:15-10:15 on Sunday morning.  Those bringing items for the meal are asked to please bring them by 8:45 am.  The warmers will be ready.

(No Bible study or Sunday school this weekend because of the breakfast.)

- Easter is a great time to invite a neighbor or co-worker to join you for worship.  Pick up an invitation at church on Sunday.

- Spring workday is Saturday at our Five Forks campus.  We'll begin at 8:30 a.m. but you are welcome to come anytime in the morning.  We plan to be finished by noon.

- Good Friday singers will rehearse on Sunday after worship.

- Dan Granberg continues to deliberate as he now holds a call to serve in Houston, along with his call to serve here.  You are welcome to offer your advice and please include him in your prayers.

Those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries the week of April 13-19 (to extend a greeting, if you wish):

"Happy Birthday" to: Aaron Tenorio (13), Eden Edwards (15), Sharon Stephen (15), Maya Corbin (15), Mark White (17), Diedre Schelling (18), and Andria Wolske (19).

"Happy Anniversary" to: Jim & Sheryl Hutchison (15), and Aaron & Heather Peterson (18).

That's all for this week.

God's blessing on your day.

- Pastor Duane
